Every Reset Handmist is the same 70% alcohol hand sanitizer with four skincare actives. The only thing that changes is the fragrance. So choosing one is really about choosing a mood. Here's how each one smells, and when it works best.
Pistache: soft, nutty, comforting
Top: pistachio, almond. Heart: jasmine, tonka bean. Base: salted caramel, vanilla, sandalwood.
Pistache opens like the first bite of a pistachio dessert: soft, nutty and a little sweet. Jasmine and tonka round it out, and it settles into salted caramel and sandalwood, which is the part that stays on your hands.
Reach for it: in the afternoon slump, after a long meeting, on the drive home. You'll like it if you love gourmand perfumes, vanilla or anything that smells like a warm kitchen.
Morning Kapi: warm, roasted, grounding
Top: coffee bean, cardamom. Heart: roasted chicory, brown sugar. Base: dark wood, tonka bean.
Morning Kapi smells like a South-Indian filter coffee being made: the coffee and cardamom first, then chicory and a little brown sugar, with dark wood underneath.
Reach for it: first thing in the morning, before a presentation, at your desk with the first cup. You'll like it if you love coffee, warm spices or woody perfumes.
Citrus Walk: bright, airy, uplifting
Top: bergamot, lemon, amber. Heart: neroli, sandalwood, orange. Base: lily, vanilla, cedar.
Citrus Walk is the fresh one. Bergamot and lemon up top, a sunny heart of neroli and orange, and a soft finish of lily and cedar. It's the lightest of the three.
Reach for it: after the metro, on humid afternoons, between errands, at the office. You'll like it if you prefer fresh, citrus or light floral perfumes.
Still can't choose?
- Want something cosy: Pistache.
- Need to switch on: Morning Kapi.
- Want to feel fresh: Citrus Walk.
Or don't choose. The Discovery Set has all three full-size bottles, and costs less than buying them separately. Most people end up with a favourite for each part of the day.
How long does the scent last?
All three sit close to the skin for about one to two hours. That's on purpose: it's a scent for you, not for the whole room. When it fades, that's your cue for another reset.
